313c has worked with the New Economy Initiative (NEI) as a strategic advisor and thought partner in a variety of capacities since 2016. 313c supports strategic planning, fund development initiatives, entrepreneurship programs, grantee convenings and ecosystem strategies.

From 2016-2019, 313c supported The NEIdeas Challenge and its alumni base of 200+ entrepreneurs in Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park. The program awarded cash grants to local business owners with the best ideas for growth. 313c supported NEI with strategy, communications, and outreach for the Challenge, including event design for the 2018 awards ceremony, which featured an original spoken word piece by jessica Care moore. 313c also produced the NEIdeas Growth Series, bringing business curriculum and technical services to NEIdeas Alumni.

In 2019-2020, 313c was NEI’s strategic advisor for In Good Company, a web-based multi-media storytelling campaign featuring the business journeys of a diverse cohort of Detroit entrepreneurs. During the pandemic, 313c produced In Good Company Live, featuring virtual interviews, business tours and live demonstrations for the viewing public
